- HOLDS UP TO HEAVY USE - Ideal for high traffic areas, this commercial grade door closer is certified Grade 1 - ANSI/ BHMAA156.4 - the highest possible quality rating available for door hardware. Under third-party testing, the door closer performed like new at over 2 million cycles. Additionally, all components are UL & ADA compliant.
- WHISPER SOFT AUTOMATIC DOOR CLOSER - Keep sound out and conditioned air in. Once installed, your door will gently shut itself. 6 settings allow you to adjust the speed of the pneumatic door closer from a swift swing to a gradual close.
- MOUNTS ANYWHERE - This heavy-duty door closer can be installed on either the right- or left-hand side, and screws securely into any material frame (wood, aluminum, steel, etc). Each door package includes brackets and a soffit plate to allow regular, top jamb, and parallel arm installations, as well as machine and wood screws.
- INSTALLATION HARDWARE INCLUDED - Box includes all the screws and bolts you need to install the door closer anywhere - and easy-to-follow template and instructions.

Detailed Description and Specification of D9016 Door Closer
Ω Overview: D9016 is Dorrenhaus's most durable surface mounted heavy-duty closer, designed for the most demanding high-use-and-abuse applications. It meets ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and ADA reduced opening force requirements.
The D9016 features include standard plastic cover, metal cover optional, with optional plated finish available for cover, arm and fasteners. Materials include high strength cast iron cylinder, forged steel arm, double heat-treated steel pinion and full complement, low friction bearing for rugged reliability in high-traffic in installation.
